Ganeshotsav begins with the electrifying beats of Aagman 🥁—welcoming Lord Ganesha into our homes and grand pandals with pure love, sweets, and celebration 🌸🪔. The festival culminates in the deeply emotional Visarjan, where amid chants of “गणपती बाप्पा मोरया, पुढच्या वर्षी लवकर या!”, millions bid farewell with moist eyes and folded hands 🙌🌊.
Yet, beyond the grand pandals and glittering lights, a quieter reality unfolds. On the holy morning of Ganesh Chaturthi, while our dining tables overflow with festive feasts, young boys and girls at Matruchaya Balak Ashram 🏡 look out of their windows, yearning to feel that same family warmth, festive laughter, and special treat 🍲❤️. Later, as the festival reaches its crescendo on the 7th and 11th days (Anant Chaturdashi), hundreds of thousands of barefoot devotees march under the blazing sun ☀️ and humid skies, carrying their beloved idols through dense crowds—often completely parched and exhausted 🚶♂️💧.
Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation believes that true Bhakti finds its highest expression in Seva. “Aagman Se Visarjan Tak – 10 Days of Giving, A Lifetime of Blessings” bridges this sacred journey: welcoming Bappa by serving a royal, nutritious festive feast to orphaned children on Day 1
, and honoring His departure by replenishing, hydrating, and feeding His devoted pilgrims till the very end
.
A Festive Feast of Dignity at Aagman:
Children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram receive everyday basic meals, but festive joy requires something made with heartfelt affection . A complete festive feast (freshly fried puris, paneer curry, dal, pulao, farsan, and authentic ukadiche modaks
) ensures these innocent souls feel deeply included and valued.
Vital Hydration & Sustenance at Visarjan:
Walking long distances while carrying murtis and playing in dhol-tasha pathaks is a physically demanding pilgrimage. Providing chilled, sealed mineral water bottles
and fresh, hygienic energy snack boxes (poha, bananas, energy bites
) prevents dehydration, exhaustion, and heat-related emergencies along high-density routes.
“At Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation, our mission is encapsulated in our name: to become the comforting, protective shade (‘Sawali’
) of happiness (‘Sukh’
) for those facing life’s harshest realities. Ganeshotsav teaches us boundless generosity and unity. With ‘Aagman Se Visarjan Tak’, we invite every devotee to translate prayer into purposeful action. Let us ensure that on Aagman, no child feels forgotten, and on Visarjan, no devotee walks thirsty. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”

When you fold your hands before Lord Ganesha this year, look at His divine innocence 🐘✨. In our scriptures, serving a parentless child is identical to serving Bal Ganesha Himself 👶🙏, and offering cool water to a parched pilgrim is considered Maha-Punya 💧🕊️.
By joining Aagman Se Visarjan Tak, you ensure:
An orphaned child wakes up on Ganesh Chaturthi with sparkling eyes and a plate full of festival delicacies 🍛🎈.
A tired devotee carrying Bappa through heavy crowds receives clean water and immediate energy directly from your generosity 🤝🚰.
The festival spans 10 days, but the quiet blessings of a smiling child and the genuine relief of a thirsty pilgrim will resonate across a lifetime of blessings for your family 🌟🏡.
At Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation, we hold your trust as our most sacred responsibility. Every single rupee you donate is a sacred trust (Amanat) entrusted to us to bring warmth, dignity, and food to those who need it most.
Financial contributions drive our logistics, but our people bring the soul. We believe that physical presence, advocacy, and voice carry equal weight in transforming these children’s lives.
