🪢 स्नेहबंध आणि आनंदाची सावली: वंचित मुलांसोबत रक्षाबंधन सोहळा २०२६ 🍲✨
Raksha Bandhan represents more than a ritual of tying a sacred thread; it is a timeless promise of protection, unconditional care, and lifelong belonging. While homes across the country light up with festive warmth, laughter, and family reunions, hundreds of innocent children on our streets and in orphanages watch from afar, longing for a single touch of affection and a shared meal.
This Raksha Bandhan, Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation invites you to become the protector they have been waiting for. We are extending our circle of family to the young souls at Matruchaya Balak Ashram, Pune, as well as vulnerable children living across the streets of Mumbai.
Severe Nutritional Deficits: Street-connected children across Mumbai face daily insecurity regarding clean food, frequently surviving on discarded scraps or single daily meals devoid of vital nutrition.
Emotional Alienation: Institutionalized children in ashrams and kids living on urban street corners experience sharp isolation when the rest of society gathers for festive family celebrations.
Basic Material Deprivation: Beyond hunger, these children lack everyday childhood essentials—stationery for learning, basic hygiene items, and festive tokens that spark joy and dignity.
Phase 1: Celebration & Special Feast at Matruchaya Balak Ashram (Pune)
Traditional Rakhi tying ceremony with volunteers, team members, and the children.
Interactive games, music, storytelling sessions, and cultural activities.
Serving a specially prepared, nutritious festive feast for all residents.
Phase 2: Street Distribution Drive across Mumbai
Mobilization of dedicated volunteer teams across major street junctions, slums, and traffic clusters in Mumbai.
Distribution of fresh, hygienic hot meal packets to street children and vulnerable families.
Handover of curated Festive Gift Sets containing stationery kits, creative learning supplies, sweets, and personal hygiene items.
Every rupee donated directly funds fresh festive meals and comprehensive gift sets. To ensure wide-scale operational reach across Pune and Mumbai, our minimum suggested donation is ₹2,500.

Look down at your own wrist this festive season. The thread tied there is an unspoken assurance that you are loved, safeguarded, and never alone.
Can we extend that exact promise to a child whose wrists and plates are completely empty?
Your contribution is not merely a financial transaction; it is a plate of warm, wholesome food, a gift box held tight against a child’s chest, and a sacred vow whispered into a little one’s ear: “You matter, and you are not forgotten.”
At Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation, we hold your trust as our most sacred responsibility. Every single rupee you donate is a sacred trust (Amanat) entrusted to us to bring warmth, dignity, and food to those who need it most.
Financial contributions drive our logistics, but our people bring the soul. We believe that physical presence, advocacy, and voice carry equal weight in transforming these children’s lives.
On-Ground Volunteers: Assist with meal packaging, gift distribution drives across Mumbai, and activity facilitation at the Ashram in Pune.
Community Advocates: Champion our campaign across social media, workplace networks, and residential societies to rally compassionate donors.
Creative Enablers: Help document stories of impact through photography, videography, and creative engagement sessions with the kids.
Financial contributions fuel the cause, but hearts and hands bring it to life!
Volunteers help us pack, transport, and serve meals and grocery kits with love and dignity.
Advocates amplify our voice by sharing this campaign within their personal and professional networks, ensuring no child or family goes unnoticed.
While donations fuel our drive, volunteers and advocates are the heart and soul of Sukachi Sawali.
Volunteers ensure that every meal is served with dignity and affection, personally reaching out to those on the streets.
Advocates amplify our message, sharing this cause with friends, family, and networks to ensure no child or family is left unfed.
While financial donations sustain our supply chains, our volunteers supply the emotional heartbeat of the campaign. We place immense value on human presence and community advocacy:
On-Ground Operations Crew: Manage food safety, coordinate meal packaging in Mumbai, and maintain smooth queue systems during distribution drives.
Youth Engagement & Ashram Mentors: Conduct educational games, facilitate cultural performances, and spend one-on-one time with children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram.
Digital & Community Advocates: Champion our donation drives across corporate offices, housing societies, LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp networks.
Documentation & Media Team: Respectfully document the stories, capture high-resolution imagery, and create post-event transparency reports for donors.
