We are combining two powerful acts of service into one historic day:
Annadan (The Gift of Food): Treating orphans like royalty.
Vastra Samman (The Gift of Dignity): Empowering destitute women, reflecting Maharaj’s strict code of honoring all women as “Mata” (Mother).
Beneficiaries: The children of Matruchaya Balak Ashram, Dighi.
The Concept: These children often survive on basic sustenance. On this day, they will not just be fed; they will be celebrated. We will provide a wholesome, festive “Special Meal” rich in nutrition and taste (including sweets like Puran Poli/Shrikhand), serving them with the love a family provides.
Cost Impact: ₹200 per child ensures a premium, nutritious, and fulfilling meal.
Beneficiaries: Homeless and destitute women living on the streets of Mumbai.
The Concept: Shivaji Maharaj famously returned the daughter-in-law of the Subhedar of Kalyan with full honors and gifts. To honor this legacy, we will identify women living in extreme poverty on the streets and gift them a new Saree/Clothing set. This is not charity; it is a restoration of dignity.
Cost Impact: ₹300 per set ensures quality fabric that lasts.
To maximize our impact and ensure substantial help reaches both the children and the women, we have structured the donations into impactful tiers.
Minimum Donation Request: ₹1,500 (We request this minimum to ensure that every donor makes a tangible difference in the lives of at least 6 individuals combined.)
Tier Name | Contribution Amount | Impact Created (The Breakdown) | Emotional Value |
The Mavala (Soldier) | ₹ 1,500 | 3 Kids Fed Royal Meal+ 3 Women Gifted Clothes | You are the foot soldier of kindness, protecting the basic needs of the people. |
The Sardar (Commander) | ₹ 2,500 | 5 Kids Fed Royal Meal+ 5 Women Gifted Clothes | You are leading the charge in fighting hunger and poverty in your city. |
The Peshwa (Prime Minister) | ₹ 5,000 | 10 Kids Fed Royal Meal+ 10 Women Gifted Clothes | A massive impact that changes the day for 20 distinct lives. |
The Chhatrapati Tribute | ₹ 10,000 | 20 Kids Fed Royal Meal+ 20 Women Gifted Clothes | A royal gesture of generosity that truly embodies the spirit of the Ki |
At Sukachi Sawali, we believe that every child deserves a memory of a Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and every person deserves the dignity of clean clothes and good food.
By donating ₹1,500, you aren’t just sending money; you are sending a message to the children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram and the people on the streets that they are not forgotten.
Let’s light up their world this Christmas.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not just a warrior; he was a protector of the vulnerable and a champion of women’s dignity. He built Swarajya (Self-Rule) on the foundations of justice and compassion.
This Shiv Jayanti, we move beyond just garlands and slogans. We aim to bring his teachings to life by serving those he cared for most: the children who represent our future and the women whose honor he fiercely guarded. This event, “Hindavi Swarajya Seva,” is a promise to keep his legacy alive through karya (action).
Part 1: Annapurna Seva (Wholesome Meals for Orphans)
Venue: Matruchaya Balak Ashram, Dighi, Pune.
The Act: We will host a “Raj-Bhoj” (Royal Feast) for the children of the Ashram. Instead of a basic meal, this will be a wholesome, nutritious, and festive spread, treating every child like royalty for the day.
Emotional Connect: For these children, a warm, special meal is a rare comfort. By feeding them, we honor the concept of Rayatecha Raja (King of the Subjects)—ensuring no one in his kingdom goes hungry.
Part 2: Jijau Sanman (Dignity for Women)
Venue: Streets of Mumbai (Targeted areas with homeless populations).
The Act: Distribution of high-quality clothing sets (Sarees/Salwar Kameez) to destitute women living on the streets.
Emotional Connect: Shivaji Maharaj’s strict laws protected women from harassment and ensured their dignity. By clothing the mothers and sisters on our streets, we uphold the values of his mother, Rajmata Jijau, who instilled these virtues in him. We are not just giving clothes; we are offering respect.
🚩 JAI SHIVRAY! A Tribute Beyond Garlands & Speeches 🚩
“He who wipes the tears of the poor is the true Mawla of Shivaji Maharaj.”
This Shiv Jayanti (19th Feb 2026), the Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation is honoring the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj not just with words, but with Action (Kartavya).
Maharaj built Swarajya on two pillars: Protecting the Honor of Women and Caring for the Needy. We are bringing both to life in one historic event.
📅 Our Plan for 19th Feb: 1️⃣ Royal Feast (Annadan): Providing a wholesome, special meal to the orphan children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram, Dighi, Pune.
