As we welcome the arrival of Maghi Ganpati, the air is filled with devotion and joy. But for some—orphan children waiting for a warm meal or the homeless struggling on the streets—festivals are just another day of survival.
At Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation, we believe that the true “Naivedya” (offering) to Bappa is filling the empty stomach of a child.
🌟 Our Mission for Maghi Ganpati To engulf the true value of this festival, we are conducting a dual food drive:
Matruchaya Balak Ashram, Dighi, Pune: Providing wholesome, festive meals to orphan children.
Streets of Mumbai: Distributing fresh meal packets to the underprivileged and homeless.
We have identified two critical areas where your contribution can create immediate joy on this auspicious day:
We have simplified the donation structure to make your contribution transparent and impactful:
1 Wholesome Meal for an Orphan: ₹200
1 Meal Packet for the Homeless: ₹100
✨ The “Seva Combo” (Feeds Both): ₹300
To maximize our reach and ensure no one goes hungry on this auspicious day, we are requesting a minimum contribution of ₹1,500.
What does ₹1,500 do? It sponsors 5 Seva Combos. This means you will be feeding 5 orphan children AND 5 people on the street. (10 blessings in a single donation!)
We have set a minimum request of ₹1,500 because we want your contribution to create a tangible, visible wave of change.
Here is exactly what your ₹1,500 achieves:
🍽️ 5 Orphan Children in Pune will eat a full, nutritious festive lunch.
🥡 5 Underprivileged People in Mumbai will receive fresh meal packets.
❤️ 10 Souls will bless you on this auspicious day.
When you contribute this amount, you are effectively adopting the hunger of 10 individuals for a day. You become the hands of Ganesha, distributing His blessings.
The Occasion: Maghi Ganesh Jayanti Maghi Ganpati marks the birth of Lord Ganesha—the deity of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. Traditionally, we celebrate birthdays by receiving gifts. But spiritually, the truest celebration of a divine birthday is giving.
Lord Ganesha is known as Vighnaharta (The Remover of Obstacles). For a child without parents or a laborer sleeping on the pavement, the biggest obstacle isn’t a lack of wealth—it is the uncertainty of their next meal.
The Sentiment: “Utsav Anandacha, Sewa Manavachi” (Festival of Joy, Service to Humanity) Festivals often draw a sharp line between the privileged and the underprivileged. While our homes fill with the aroma of Modaks and festive feasts, the children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram and the dwellers on the Mumbai streets often watch the celebrations from the outside.
Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation wants to erase this line. We want to ensure that when the world celebrates Ganesha, these souls feel the warmth of His presence through your kindness.
We believe in transparency and direct impact.
Direct Reach: Your funds go directly to the procurement of food and clothes.
Celebration with Care: Our volunteers will be physically present at Matruchaya Balak Ashram and on the streets of Pune on Jan 14th, 2026, to ensure the distribution is done with love and respect.
Updates: Every donor will receive photos and a summary of the event distribution.
Photos/videos of the event will be shared with donors.
– Receipts fo expenses publicly posted on our website.
– Every rupee accounted for.
These children have no safety net—**you are their hope**. By supporting Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation, you’re not just donating money; you’re investing in a child’s right to dream, heal, and thrive.
