Christmas is the season of giving, family, and feasts. But for the orphaned children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram (Dighi, Pune) and the homeless families living on the streets, the festive season is often just another cold week of survival.
This year, Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation is turning compassion into action. From December 20th to December 25th, 2025, we are launching a dual-mission drive to ensure no one goes hungry and no one sleeps cold during the holidays.
We have identified two critical needs to make this holiday special:
We are organizing special, nutritious, and wholesome holiday meals for the orphan kids at Matruchaya Balak Ashram in Dighi, Pune.
Cost per child: ₹200
Impact: A full tummy and the joy of a shared festive feast.
For the men, women, and children living on the streets, new clothes are a luxury they cannot afford. We are distributing sets of new clothes to provide warmth and dignity.
Cost per person: ₹300
Impact: Protection from the cold and the happiness of wearing something new for the festival.
Be Their Santa Now. Target Goal: 500 Meals & 500 Clothing Sets
Contribution Options:
₹1,500 (Sponsor 3 People – Recommended)
₹3,000 (Sponsor 6 People)
₹5,000 (Sponsor 10 People – become a ‘Super Santa’)
We want to make a substantial difference this year. To maximize our reach and ensure we can cover both food and clothing logistics, we have set a specific donation goal.
₹200 provides 1 Wholesome Meal.
₹300 provides 1 Set of Clothes.
₹500 impacts 1 Life completely (Meal + Clothes).
To ensure we can reach as many people as possible during this 5-day drive, we are requesting a Minimum Donation of ₹1,500.
What does ₹1,500 do? It allows you to fully sponsor the Christmas celebration for 3 People (3 Meals + 3 Sets of Clothes).
“Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.”
At Sukachi Sawali, we believe that every child deserves a memory of a happy Christmas, and every person deserves the dignity of clean clothes and good food.
By donating ₹1,500, you aren’t just sending money; you are sending a message to the children at Matruchaya Balak Ashram and the people on the streets that they are not forgotten.
Let’s light up their world this Christmas.
Christmas is often painted in red and gold, filled with the warmth of family, the smell of cake, and the excitement of new gifts. But for many, December isn’t festive—it’s just another cold month.
For the child at the orphanage: Christmas is a day they wait for, hoping someone visits to break the routine of silence.
For the family on the street: The festive lights are just a reminder of the home they don’t have.
This year, Sukachi Sawali Welfare Foundation is refusing to let them celebrate alone. We are launching a massive 5-day drive to ensure that the spirit of Santa Claus visits the humblest of places.
We aren’t just dropping off supplies; we are celebrating with them. Here is how your donation will be used between Dec 20 and Dec 25, 2025:
Our volunteers will travel across the city streets to identify homeless families and individuals sleeping on the pavements.
The Action: We will distribute brand new sets of clothes.
The Goal: To replace torn rags with fresh, dignified clothing that allows them to celebrate the festival with pride.
On Christmas Day, we will gather at Matruchaya Balak Ashram in Dighi, Pune.
The Action: A full-day celebration with the orphan kids including games, carols, and a “Grand Wholesome Meal.”
The Menu: A special festive spread featuring Paneer Bhaji, Puri, Pulao, Sweets (Gulab Jamun/Kheer), and a piece of Christmas Cake for every child.
